Clipsa for iPhone · last updated 29 August 2026
Clipsa is operated by Vector Mesa LLC — the same company that sells the app on the App Store. Contact: privacy@clipsa.app.
None. The app asks for no registration, creates no account, contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and sends nothing to our servers or anyone else's. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
To build a reel the app needs access to the videos in Photos (the NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription permission). That access is used only to:
Limited access (“Selected Photos”) works too: the app then sees only what you have marked. You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
The results of the analysis — tags, numeric vectors (embeddings), thumbnails, project drafts and exported videos — live in the app's sandbox on your iPhone. They are never synchronised or transmitted. Everything derived can be erased inside the app: Settings → “Удалить локальный индекс” (Delete local index). Deleting the app removes all of it as well. Your original videos in Photos are not touched either way.
If your videos are stored in iCloud Photos, the app asks iOS through the system API to download the original to the device — and only when you tap “Скачать” (Download). That exchange happens between your device and your own iCloud; the developer takes no part in it and has no access to your iCloud.
The app keeps local counters (how many scenes were filled, how long a render took, an error code). They are written to the device's own system log and are sent nowhere. They contain no user identifiers, file names or asset identifiers. Crash reports, if you have enabled them in iOS settings, are collected by Apple under Apple's rules — we receive only anonymised statistics from Apple.
We share and sell no data, because there is none to share. The app contains no third-party SDKs, ad networks or trackers. There is no cross-app tracking (App Tracking Transparency).
The app is not directed at children and collects no data about anyone, including children under 13.
Since no personal data is collected or held by the developer, there is nothing for us to give you access to, correct or delete. All of the app's data stays under your control on the device and is removed together with the app.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
